The District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Daffiama Bussie Issa (DBI) District, Hon. James Wor has commissioned and handed over four completed projects to beneficiary communities within the district.
The projects, funded under the Gulf of Guinea Northern Regions Social Cohesion (SOCO) Projects include; a CHPS Compound Moyiri, a Kindergarten (KG) block at Bussie, and another CHPS Compound at Samanbo.
During the ceremony, Hon. James Wor emphasized government’s commitment to improving access to quality healthcare and education across the district. He encouraged the beneficiary communities to take full ownership of the facilities and ensure their proper maintenance for long-term benefit.
Community members expressed their gratitude to the government and the DCE for the projects, noting that the new facilities would go a long way toward improving healthcare delivery, education, and general living conditions in their communities.
The events ended with a renewed sense of collaboration between the district authorities and the local communities toward sustaining development in the DBI District.
