I journeyed round the golden sun,

Yet never glimpsed my treasure bright.

The search was long, the path was hard,

But hope still whispered through the night,

So on I went with steadfast might.

Across the deep, mysterious sea,

Where roaring waves resisted me,

I fought the tides, defied the storm,

My heart your name’s unending psalm,

For you, my hidden, sacred charm.

Through forests wild and thick with fear,

Where even devils dare not go near,

I ventured bold with love’s desire,

To find the glow that set my fire,

But hope dissolved like fading light.

Beneath the lonely veil of night,

My eyes searched wide through dreamless skies.

Though sleep hung heavy on my eyes,

I would not rest nor turn away,

For you, my heart’s eternal ray.

Through thunder’s roar and heaven’s tears,

I wandered lost through haunting years,

Yet still your image lit my way,

And urged my soul to never stray,

Till love’s pure light revealed the day.

And now, at last, my search is done,

The treasure found, my heart has won.

In joy I hold you, sweet and near,

My soul’s desire, my world sincere,

Forever mine, till death draws near.

Note:

Love is a journey—sometimes long, winding, and filled with storms. Yet, for the one whose heart truly believes, every pain becomes a stepping stone toward a beautiful destiny.

This poem celebrates the endurance of love, the joy of discovery, and the peace that comes when two souls finally find each other.
