Today, Monday, 8th June 2026, the Nadowli-Kaleo District will witness a major development milestone as the District Assembly holds the sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of the 24-Hour Economy Model Market.
The event will also feature the commissioning of a 6-unit classroom block at Gure, a 6-unit classroom block at Naro, and the donation of 16,584 school uniforms to basic schools across the district.
The ceremony is expected to be graced by H.E. John Dramani Mahama, the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban S.K. Bagbin, the Upper West Regional Minister, Hon. Charles Lwanga Puozuing, the District Chief Executive, Hon. Mary Haruna, and the Member of Parliament for Nadowli-Kaleo, Hon. Anthony M. Sumah.
