One of the traps the immediate past NPP government seem to have set for the current Government is the passage of the Plea Bargaining Law.

That law seems to protect the political and influential class, many of whom engage in gargantuan financial malfeasance/scandals, depriving the state and by extension the masses, of the real benefit of the resources of the state while many times, harassing innocent individuals or those who commit very minor mistakes/offences, hence a conduit for corruption.

The plea bargaining law needs a second look, for the Reset Agenda through ORAL to be effectively carried out.

One other ugly act that got many Ghanaian youth very angry at the previous NPP government, partly based on which it was kicked out, was the wicked sale of jobs and other services at throat-cutting amounts to the youth, many of whom struggle to finish school and acquire skills, hence being left out in securing jobs.

Unfortunately, this insensitive and cruel practice seems to be becoming a normalcy, a special purpose vehicle for corruption and corruption-related activities in almost all facets of the economy, in the medium to long term.

Many times this practice attracts the rich and powerful who can pay and not those who really have the required qualifications, competencies and skills.

Imagine an individual Ghanaian Youth is made to cough out between Ghc 10,000.00 and Ghc 50,000.00 just to secure a job in Ghana, our own motherland, what indirectly is such a person asked to do when he/she gets into office? Your guess is as good as mine! It's sad, most unfortunate and a pity.

Ghana indeed need a RESET and ORAL must succeed, otherwise .....

Those who are not comfortable with ORAL can go and burn the sea
