The Member of Parliament for Daffiama-Bussie-Issa Constituency, Hon Sebastian Sandaare, has acknowledged the infrastructural challenges facing McCoy College of Education and pledged his support to address the issue.

Speaking through the NDC Communication Officer for Daffiama-Bussie-Issa, Denis Andaban, at the 2025 Graduation Ceremony, the MP expressed his commitment to lobbying for funds to bridge the infrastructure gap at the college.

Hon Sandaare expressed optimism that the government's educational infrastructure drive, through the GETFUND project allocations, would transform educational institutions, including McCoy College of Education. He also highlighted the Upper West MPs Caucus's readiness to collaborate to ensure the college receives its fair share of development projects.

The MP urged the new graduands to accept postings to rural communities, particularly in the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa Constituency, citing the government's initiative to construct teachers' bungalows attached to new schools as a motivating factor for teachers in rural areas.

To support the college, Hon Sandaare donated GH¢5,000 to aid the organisation of the graduation ceremony.
